The local region at the Federal Horticultural Show Koblenz 2011

The Federal Horticultural Show Koblenz 2011 will enable Koblenz to further strengthen its market position, particularly in the tourism sector, and this will benefit the Middle Rhine region as a whole.The Federal Horticultural Show Koblenz 2011 will provide a showcase for local communities, districts and other stakeholders from the Middle Rhine region to promote their major attractions. They will be addressing the public with a rich variety of themed garden presentations: “Gardens of the Middle Rhine Region”, which will be located in the main defence ditch inside the old fortress walls in the BUGA core area “Ehrenbreitstein Fortress Plateau”.Key themes to look forward to include “Rhine Romanticism”, “Volcanism and the Earth’s History”. “Fairy Tales and Legends”, “Art and Ceramics”, “Hiking and Climbing” and “Castles and Palaces”.
