Tour bus parking with roughly 130 spaces is located at the main entrance to the Federal Horticultural Show on the right side of the Rhine at the “Festung Ehrenbreitstein” (Festung Ehrenbreitstein) of the Fritschkaserne (Area of military technology collection [WTS]). A sign system will guide tour buses from the regional Autobahn exits to the tour bus parking area. You can arrive on the motorways A3, A48, A61 and B9 and then continue via the B49/L127 to Niederberger Höhe. Use of the tour bus parking area is free. Please regard two restrictions: The “Schlosspark” (Castle park) main entrance to the Federal Horticultural Show on the left side of the Rhine in the historic city centre cannot be used by tour buses due to a lack of parking spaces. Buses are not allowed to travel on the route passing through Urbar (K85) to the main entrance of the Federal Horticultural Show at the “Festun Ehrenbreitstein” (Fortress Ehrenbreitstein).
The Koblenz central train station is well connected to the main centres in the area with frequent service along both the Rhine and Moselle routes. At the central train station, buses travel from the square in front of the station or from the stop “Koblenz-Stadtmitte” with a 10 minute walk through the pedestrian zone to the “Schlosspark” (Castle park) BUGA entrance on the left side of the Rhine.
